One of the first hilarious tweets James Blunt did that really caught a lot of attention was in regards to his own relevance. Proving that he wouldn't just take abuse from people on social media, this was a great moment of him proving he is more than confident in his own abilities.

To highlight the joke, the British singer shared an image of the current odds, claiming that Mariah is going to be pissed.

Obviously, he is joking about the entire situation and likely doesn't even expect himself to be so high up in the odds. But seeing James Blunt firing a tweet Mariah's way is absolutely hilarious.
Dad Jokes
It isn't just witty comebacks that James Blunt has in his locker though, as he is more than capable of busting out a Dad joke as well. The sort of joke that is so lame and pathetic that it actually ends up being funny.
After someone tweeted that they couldn't stand James, the singer quickly took the opportunity to bury them with his own Dad joke.
Telling them, "Have a seat. I have that effect on people." It's one that should not be funny in the slightest, yet for some reason, it is utterly hilarious at the same time.

So, James Blunt has witty comebacks, Dad jokes, and rude jokes. Perhaps he missed a calling as a comedian at some stage in his career? Blunt often puts fairly rude jokes as a method of responding to people who mock him.

Wearing an inflatable plane, drinking a beer, not talking to anybody, Blunt mocked his own party. Everyone has an image of Blunt being a boring person because of his music, and the fact he plays into that idea is hilarious. Obviously knowing that it will feed into people to create more of a conversation, Blunt is incredibly smart in what he does and this hilarious tweet is just one example of that.

As you can tell by this list, James Blunt has absolutely no issues with ripping into the general public. While most celebrities would steer way clear of offending someone who could potentially buy their product, Blunt just lets them know exactly how he feels.
However, that doesn't mean he is against making a joke out of himself as well. His Twitter account isn't just for making fun of others, as he quite often points out that a large number of people don't like his music. Towards the end of 2016, that's exactly what he did to get people talking about his upcoming album. Stating: "If you thought 2016 was bad-I'm releasing an album in 2017."
Too Big For Ed
James Blunt's Twitter account has truly become a thing of legend. While it started out with just his fans appreciating what he was doing, Blunt's actions quickly caught on and gained a much bigger audience. Major names started mentioning him and getting in on the action, including Ed Sheeran, arguably the biggest pop star in the world.
This led to a hilarious interaction between him and Blunt. After Ed responded to a tweet of his asking to marry him, Blunt acted as if he was too big for him, stating that those types of requests must go through his management.
